International Day of Peace – September:

A school assembly is held on this day set aside by the United Nations in September to focus on what can be done to promote peace within the school and across the world. Grade 1 students have led classes in reflecting about peace.

World Food Day – October 16th:

Commemorating the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations, headquartered in Rome, students are invited to focus on hunger issues local and around the world. Guest speakers and food collections are regularly part of this day.

Annual Giving Back Bazaar – December:

This annual event brings the Ambrit community together for a day of joy, sharing, music, and giving back. There are activities designed to encourage students to think about the needs of others around the world. The day also offers possibilities for students to volunteer within the school.
