Dear Early Childhood Parents,

Earth Day
The Early Childhood children gathered to celebrate Earth Day. Each class shared a song or picture and then we all joined in to sing "This Pretty Planet".
We wanted the children to have a tangible understanding of how to look after our world and so we took one of our older sand trays and transformed it into a small garden. We planted tomatoes, salad, chives and basil. These along with our beautiful new flower boxes have given the children an opportunity to care for our little piece of the planet.

Parent Forum
After the success of the first Parent Forum we had many people requesting that it became a regular event. This Tuesday 13th May we will be holding our second forum in the lunch room at 9.15. Elizabeth Escobar, our counsellor, will be facilitating the event. She will address some common issues regarding E.C but this is not a lecture it is a sharing of your concerns with each other, with Elizabeth there to help and advise.

The Mayfair on May 24th
