Dear Students and Parents,
After-School Activities for the first semester are scheduled to end on Friday, February 15, 2008. It is time now to enroll your child in second semester activities. Basic information on buses, costs and times is given below. More detailed information on the clubs is available on the Ambrit website. Please look over the second semester offerings and consider choosing one or more activities for your child. There are over thirty activities to choose from for the different age ranges and interests of our students.
All students staying after school must be registered with the After-School Program to remain in the building. Students who do private music lessons or tutoring must fill out the registration form for the second semester to be allowed the use of a room. Registration forms for tutoring or private lessons should be given to their instructor who is responsible for enrolling students with the After-School Program or sent directly to the After School Coordinator.
The deadline for second semester registration is Friday, September 12, 2008. Please return the registration form to the school by this deadline so that your child may be registered. Please note that since there are limited spaces in activities and on late buses, those registration forms that are sent in without payment cannot be processed and will not hold a child's place in the course or on buses. Places are given on a first come, first serve basis. Students cannot participate until registered and will be sent home accordingly.
I will be available in the atrium to answer questions and collect payments from 3:00 until 3:30 daily or the attached form and fees may be sent in a sealed enveloped addressed to Lisa Cianni, After-School Coordinator.
1. The deadline for registration is Friday, September 12, 2008 and the semester begins after our winter break on Monday, September 15.
2. The price per club is 175.00 euros unless otherwise noted. Checks should be made payable to Ambrit Rome.
3. There is a one-time registration fee of 30.00 euros to be paid yearly by those participating in one or more activities during the academic year.
4. Classes run from 15:45 until 16:45. Late buses are available for those students already registered with the bus program who participate in the after-school program to three pick up points: FAO, WFP or IFAD. Spaces are limited and awarded upon a first come basis. The buses will leave Ambrit at approximately 16:50 pm and parents are responsible for being at pick up points. Only children with signed authorization are allowed to go on their own to parents' offices. The school waives responsibility for the collection of the students at these locations.
5. A minimum of five (5) participants must register in each club or it will be cancelled. No refund will be given after the club has been running for a month.
Thank-you for supporting the Ambrit After-School Program.
Lisa Cianni
After-School Coordinator
